Perth Royal Show 2011 :)

Perth Royal Show 2011! Hehe. One of the much anticipated events for Western Aussies here. So it was right after lunch when Mark, Mian, Joey, Sam, Steph, Felix, Jo and Jo's friend set off for Claremont Showgrounds where the annual Perth Royal Show's located. The bus ride there was hilarious when Joey tried to beautify himself and failed quite miserably. We trudged along the pavements before finally reaching our destination. It's my first time and considering Western Australia really has so much land and space, the carnival was really huge. There were stores, exhibitions, showbags on sale, live performances, food and drinks, rollercoasters, rides, game booths and even a petting animals section! I got up and personal with a couple of animals, though I did leave the pigs out of the options but there were still lambs, dogs, sheeps, ducks, owls, hamsters, etc. 

I spent alot of time just looking around, laughing, playing a few games and well... It was a good saturday spent away from the projects, assignments and deadlines that were taking up time and space in my organizer. It felt good not having to face work on a weekend, which I have been used to doing here since Uni's really been so hectic all these while. Jo and her friend disappeared to take rides and win giant soft toys and everyone around me were winning stuff too, ^^ I can't believe we even stayed all the way till nightfall to catch fireworks. And you know what's really amazing? They distributed 3D glasses to everyone and we all watched the Fireworks in 3D. HOW AWESOME IS THAT. The colours were psychedelic and everyone kept oohing and aahing throughout the half an hour demonstration of fireworks. Magnificent's not really the right world but it's close enough. Beats any fireworks I've seen in Singapore hands down, this made everyone awestruck. ^^ THAT GREAT k. Hehe. 

I am so tired that my blogpost today would be a little short. In the past 2 days, I've only spent 8 hours sleeping. And I am so drained from the deadlines I had to meet this week, I have never felt so liberated this semester. All the projects are completed as of now, one more submission tomorrow anddddd ohyeah~ I am done! Haha. Of course there are still mini quizzes coming up right before the Final Exams which are approaching in a month's time but I'll probably take this weekend off. A well-deserved break from the lack of sleep, the hardwork and the hair-pulling moments I've spent stressing over everything. I'm gonna get some well-deserved rest before I head out with Val and Jo tomorrow. Oh and I spent the past few hours with Ashley, Ain and Belle painting nails, chit-chatting and doing nothing. And they are really great company, wish this semester didn't have to end so soon cause I doubt we would get to be neighbours next semester /: Ok I'm gonna crash, goodnight all!
