Sorry for the long absence, I've been busy ever since I got back home. Summer break's awesome! It's a well deserved rest after I threw the burden of my first semester's exams and workload into the wind, a heavy burden lifted off my shoulders. Haven't quite got the time to sit down and do up a proper post but I figured I should do so now before I allow the inner sloth in me to take over subconsciously. Here's a peek into what i've been up to since.... a long while ago. Haha my apologies.
So on the day before my last paper, everyone was in high spirits already. I was the ONLY one i knew that still had a paper. Amongst all my friends in Trinity. How tragic you know. And whilst the rest were out playing paintball, I was stuck with staring at my notes. And whilst the trinity people were having a nice dinner at fremantle, i was stuck in the library doing my revision. It was quite hard to get through it since noone was in it together with me. So on the 24th, I received calls/bbms from Wen, Menghan, Jon and Jean. And after some persuasion, I decided to take a few hours off to head for Wen's BBQ. So glad I did, it was nice to see everyone before I left the next day. Though it didn't really matter since I just saw them @ Zouk last wednesday... ^^ But it was a enjoyable night :)
Trinity Dinner! This was after the last week of school commenced, so everyone headed down to Northbridge and we had a satisfying meal before gearing up to mug our way through the weeks ahead. Those were dark times indeed~ hehehehe. But well, I'm glad its over! Now all i'm concerned with is remembering who to meet on which days and deciding where to eat out at.
Ain and Joey's 23rd Birthdays @ Marche!
So it was a surprise in planning. I dated Ain out for dinner and right before meeting her, I had to rush to meet Belle and Aline to pass them Ain and Joey's Birthday Boards. Afterwhich, I dashed like mad to meet Ain on time. I managed to buy time by trying to get her to go to different places whilst Mj organised the rest at 313. When the time was up, I brought Ain over and even after we entered the restaurant, she STILL didn't see the rest sitting a few tables away from us. Everyone was conveniently holding something up to cover their faces and she didn't notice -.- Which is good i suppose. Joey came soon after but he was a wet blanket, he kinda figured things out. Even at the expanse of Edmond's panicky mode that lasted throughout the entire day. All of us had tauhway for dessert and then a few of tbem were raving over Jon's Z4 like little excited kids. Hahaha. And then all of us dispersed, Daniel dropped me home so I got home pretty quickly.
Summer Vacation 2011... In progress!
So we had to brave the crazily erratic weather whilst driving to our destination, despite the initial cluelessness we still managed to get there! Mom and Xuan were sitting behind whilst I helped with directing Jer when he drove. Waiting time was kept at the minimum and everything about the place was so pretty :) We had a couple of bites to last us for the afternoon before leaving the place. Worth a second visit! But maybe on a weekday as it wouldn't be so crowded. Though I'm not too certain about that now since everyone seems to be having their holidays, town's packed on every single day even in the early hours on week days. Bah. And i only know that because... I've been paying the streets too many visits in the past few weeks ever since I got home. Haha. Still have much that I haven't tried though!
I got to see Babypp after she was done with her dreadful examinations, just like me! Haha. We got to try the colourful XLBs @ Paradise Dynasty :) Spent the day catching up with her and filling her in on the many things that happened in Perth, always loved the fact that I can blabber to her nonstop about everything and she would always listen deeply even if they are mostly mindless chatters. Spent the next day's dinner with her, Wc and Jer prior to catching Already Famous in the theatre. But other than the fat boy in the movie (who was superrrrrrr adorable), the show was pretty boring to me. Too many obvious sponsorships and overused jokes, I think it definitely has a long way to go compared to movies from the likes of local producers such as Jack Neo. But I'd say Michelle Chong did do quite a good job in her role :) Not to forget about Waicheong, who lost soooooo much weight. His head looks so big compared to his body, can't imagine how boney he would be once he reaches the ideal weight set by SAF. All the army boys around me are shrinking, 'cept for a couple who gained mass so they look significantly fitter.
Even the boyfriend who hasn't done much 'cept for eating and maybe abit of gyming prior to my homecoming, has gained a few kilograms. And he's still whining about how I am the only one in the world who doesn't think he has grown fatter/bigger. Haha. He's still too skinny :( After the movie was over, Jer and I chilled with Khaidan and Van over a few drinks at Holland V's Indochine before Kd dropped all of us back. Didn't manage to get any photos with Char when we met on Tuesdaybut like always, time always passes really fast when we're together. I tried Ippudo for the first time when we met, and it was rather... different from normal ramen outside. I'd definitely pay it a 2nd visit ^^ Hehe. And I am looking forward to the next meeting love, I know you're seeing this! Hehehe. :*
Zouk/Phuture/Velvet on Wednesday, Winebar on Saturday. It was unplanned, the second one. But I had to go since I haven't got around to seeing Josh or Benchew in a really long while. But prior to that, I was at Jer's cousin's wedding. It was a really pleasant and beautiful one, I always loved weddings; they signify a new beginning of a chapter together for the newlyweds and also, a union of 2 blessed individuals in the eyes and presence of everyone in relation to them. Not to mention, the bride looked absolutely breathtaking and happiness seemed to radiate from her. Perhaps that's why she looked like she was glowing. Jer was the designated driver for the newlyweds so I waited with him till they were done before dropping them off at their hotel.
At 2am together with Kd, Van, Jean and Jer, we were at the front of Zouk. Haha. With no intentions to club, on my side that is. Josh bought Khaidan snow white and seven dwarves, and the way they drank it is different from others. Insteading of taking shot by shot, half the beer has to be consumed before mixing in ALL the 7 SHOTS into the glass of beer. Last step? Downing the poison. And after I got him a ferrari, Khaidan claimed his memory for the night ended there. HAHAHAHA. I wasn't any better, had a super lambo + a ferrari + a few jugs and I wasn't feeling too good. But my body's terrible at expelling alcohol so the only thing i could do was sleep it all off that night. Jer sent me back home that night before heading back on his own, hehe i love jerrold tan ♥v♥
OK I AM VERY TIRED.
I shall continue this another time, in a separate blogpost. Meanwhile, cheers if you've managed to read till here! I don't quite know how anyone can do that, with all my unorganized and messy ramblings. I'm gonna catch some shut eye in hope that I'd wake up feeling better, been nursing a chesty cough + phlegmy flu + coarse throat + throbbing head + body aches/chills for a couple of days to date already. I'll update again about.... My meeting with Serbb + Elle's 21st Yatch Party @ One Degrees 15 soon. Once I get the time to do so. Goodnight readers, xxxxx.
