2 Saturdays ago... We celebrated Kitty Kwan's 21st Birthday. His 21st birthday celebration plan was a surprise to most of us, which was really sweet of him to actually want to surprise us on his special day when it usually is the opposite. Always the thoughtful boy. Anyway, he booked a yatch to sail us out for the night! #2 time on a yatch but #1 time sailing out. It was an awesome experience, everyone had such an amazing time!! ^^ I do hope Kit did too, he sure looked like he did. :> A picture of the handsome birthday boy to kickstart the photo spams. We were all seated to have the safety briefing first, of which most of i didn't understand or i wasn't paying much attention as i was too captivated by the view of leaving the main island. WE'RE ON THE BOAT HOOYA. And whilst it was moving, we were all struggling to balance on board whilst moving around to take pictures at every little spot. Not something we get to do on a regular basis so we were all pretty psyched! Or at least I was when I hobbled around in my maxi dress, not the best attire actually.
And then we stopped near an island, a little away from the shore for the rest of the night. And we caught the view of the sunset before it disappeared across the horizon. A picture of the boy and me below too, I could barely even stop him much to snap a photo... He was running everywhere with the other guys. -.- Peh and I couldn't go swimming so we spent some time snapping photos and catching up. The helpers on board helped us with frying the food, pouring the alcohol and reheating the pizzas plus washing up for the rest of the night... :) Popped champagne before digging in to celebrate the occasion!
Mr Birthday Boy was looking good! But ahya, he's too shy to take compliments as always. The boys decided to go swimming and kayaking. Initially, it was really funny watching them struggle on the kayaks and then capsizing again. But everyone was having a ball of a time! I presume the pictures speak for themselves so I don't really have to say much. The #3 picture of Jer + Joel + Steven is pretty epic, but they look super excited in the photo. Candid moment (y) As the night progressed on and it was time fr Kit to cut the cake, Serena was holding the cake as I walked infront of her so that she could bring it to Kit but he chose the same moment to return back to the main area -.- Boo.
Couldn't resist the temptation of the sea water so even though I was in a long maxi dress, I tied it to mid-thigh likea man and trudged downwards into the water. I didn't want to risk capsizing but the boat was so wobbly, especially when Jer and I were both sitting on it. And what happened next after we stabilized? Mr kit kwan decided that its one of his birthday wishes to have us drift off into the non-existent sunset so he came down to untie the boat from our kayak. I escaped heheheheh, hopped back onto the boat to let Jerrold fall into the sea by himself. HAHAHA. No la, i passed him the oar of course + the untying stopped. ~(^^)v Kayaked by myself around the boat, really miss doing all the outdoor sports!
Look at all the happy bald + half naked boys below... They look really happy ah. I can't quite recall who had the ingenious idea to open the bottle of champagne at close vicinity to the birthday boy's lower region, but it definitely would make him bow over in pain -.- Poor thing, hahahaha. Kang was more than happy to be the one releasing the cork from the bottle. And somehow, I was lucky enough to capture the classic moment on camera, including another picture of everyone laughing at his misery.
Photo taking mayhem! There was the OCS dream which the 3 boys shared - Unfulfilled, Fulfilled, Given up on. And the OOC dream which only Acy (who aimed for it) + Bram (who already got it) basked in. Made Jer + Kit take their usual bestfriend shot, same pose same position same hug. But this time they complained it was a little gay for their own liking, as they were half naked on the top. Hahahahah. Joke. We begun sailing back to shore when it was close to 11pm, ended the night at Alexandra Arch. Jer and I left early as we were going to Batam the following day. :)
Okay I'm off now, I need to wash the hair mask from my hair and peel my face mask off since the time is up. I haven't got around to pampering my skin nor any part of my body in ages, I don't even use facial foam on a daily basis /: Which i presume is bad :x Ought to make a mental reminder to make me conscientious in my skincare regime before it's too late to regret. Haha. Allright, i'll update once i get the time (which i am not quite certain is soon but i'll try...). Happy CNY everyone!
